INFINITUM holds onto the title of ‘Europe's Leading Beach Club’ at the World Travel Awards 2023

Barcelona, 3 October 2023. The Beach Club belonging to INFINITUM, the high-end resort located in the heart of the Costa Dorada, has consolidated, for the second year running, its reputation as ‘Europe's Leading Beach Club’ after winning first place in this category at the thirtieth edition of the World Travel Awards, the industry's most prestigious seal of approval.

INFINITUM beat other Spanish candidates such as Blue Marlin Ibiza, Gecko Beach Club, Nikki Beach Marbella, Purobeach Palma, and The Beach – La Reserva Club Sotogrande, as well as French clubs Nikki Beach Saint Tropez and Bagatelle St. Tropez, the Italian Fontelina Beach Club, the Portuguese Dunas Douradas Beach Club, and the Greek DNK Beach Club @ Domes Noruz Kassandra.

The award, presented in a ceremony at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel, in Georgia, on 29 September, recognises the effort and dedication of INFINITUM Beach Club to offer a perfect Mediterranean experience, in an exclusive and unique space.

The World Travel Awards recognise, reward, and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Voting takes place online and a year-long communication campaign is carried out to encourage global participation. Votes are cast by qualified executives working in the tourism sector, as well as travel consumers.

End of a successful summer season 
The Beach Club recently closed a successful summer season. In addition to its pools, guests were able to enjoy the Flamma Beach Foodhouse restaurant that stands out for its privileged views of the Mediterranean and use of local products in its signature cuisine, classic Mediterranean with a modern touch.  

“This award is the cherry on top of a season that ended very positively. It is recognition of the care that the entire team dedicates to offering an exclusive and unique experience in a natural environment that transports our visitors to a space of relaxation and wellbeing that they will never forget, to savour the Mediterranean in its purest essence, for the space and for the gastronomy that completes it, in a setting that they will remember forever", comments Vicky Farriol, director of F&B at INFINITUM, reaffirming the commitment made to sustainability, wellbeing, and zero-kilometre dining.

One of the new additions for this season was Sunset Sessions by INFINITUM & VALLFORMOSA every Thursday, an unmissable event in which it was possible to indulge in a welcome drink and, at the same time, enjoy a magical sunset with DJ sessions and live music. 

This seaside oasis, with 10 pools surrounded by lush greenery and with spectacular Mediterranean views, stands out for being an exclusive, unique space, located in an unrivalled setting, with Infinity pools, an adults-only zone, pools for families with children with both shallow and deep ends, waterbeds, access to the beach, and the PURA zone, where guests can enjoy a range of dining options that are as delicious as they are healthy.  

Along these lines, the F&B director emphasises that “the Brumma space, recently opened with capacity for 300 people with incomparable views, signature cuisine and tailored menus, is, together with the Beach Club, the ideal place to organise an unforgettable event”.
